Our annual MLAB's Innovation Challenge was launched last June 25 and welcomed projects from all of Metalsa's collaborators across all its locations. Through our contest, we sought game-changing ideas to radically redefine mobility and empower citizens through transportation.
Submittals included all kinds of vehicles and urban solutions and we were very excited to see different takes on our challenge and so many creative individuals coming forth with interesting proposals.
From all the entries we received, 5 stood out in terms of originality and design.

This concept is a sharing system controlled by an application. The first product would be a bicycle which can be booked and borrowed by the user. The bike was designed with an easy to produce lightweight aluminum frame, an efficient electric motor and a chainless drive that promises high efficiency.

The system consists of two main components: 3 Land Vehicles (Bicycle, E-Bike and E-Collective) and a Charging Dock with solar panels (1) connected to the electric grid with a digital module as a human machine interface.
